One of the small projects during my work at StudioParabolica in Tokyo. 

I made a cover re-design for the pocket edition of this historical novel  

The main challenge was trimming and alignment with "obi" (belt),

as well as the typography that would emphasise the waves but not be too sharp and overwhelming.
